Our vision is for a resilient Madison County that will have a safer future in which the community is capable of and involved in response and recovery from all emergencies and disasters.
The mission of the Madison County Emergency Management Agency is to unify the prevention, planning, preparedness, and recovery efforts of all our Madison County Communties.
Goals of MCEMA
1. Better prepare Madison County’s local officials, emergency response organizations, businesses and industry through training, consultation, and exercise.
2. Better prepare the communities of Madison County to lessen the impact of and be ready for emergencies and disasters through identification of the potential hazards, dissemination of public information and education.
3. Provide opportunities for people to volunteer to make their families, their homes, and their communities safer from the threats of crime, terrorism, and disasters of all kinds through recruitment, training and organization.
